My name is Muzamil Fayaz, a passionate entrepreneur, web developer, and T-shirt designer from the serene and picturesque land of Kashmir. I am the proud founder of THE KASHMIR CART™, a digital platform dedicated to showcasing the best of Kashmiri culture and heritage by bringing authentic Kashmiri products to the global stage. Through my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve combined my technical skills in web development and my deep love for Kashmiri traditions to create a business that not only supports local artisans but also elevates the rich history of Kashmir on the international map.

The Early Years: Roots in Kashmir

I was born and raised in the tranquil town of Tral, nestled in the Kashmir Valley, a place where the mountains meet the sky and nature paints the most beautiful landscapes. From a young age, I developed an unwavering connection to the land and its culture. Kashmir’s rich history, diverse traditions, and unparalleled craftsmanship fascinated me, and I always dreamed of sharing its beauty with the world.

My Journey in Education

My journey in education began at Amlar Nowpora Tral for my schooling, followed by matriculation at MTI Tral and GHSS Dadsara for my 12th grade. Even though I had a strong academic interest, I was drawn towards the idea of entrepreneurship, business, and technology. This passion led me to pursue Computer Applications for my undergraduate degree in Madras, which provided me with the tools and knowledge to venture into the world of web development, app development, and design. I knew that my skills would be essential in building a platform that could bridge the gap between the rich heritage of Kashmir and the global marketplace.

The Birth of THE KASHMIR CART™

Armed with my education, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep love for my home, I founded THE KASHMIR CART™. The idea was simple: create an online store that could showcase authentic Kashmiri products, from saffron and Shilajit to handmade walnut products and Kashmiri dry fruits, all sourced directly from local artisans and farms in Kashmir. By doing so, I hoped to support local craftsmen while giving people worldwide access to the finest, most authentic products that Kashmir has to offer.

My mission with THE KASHMIR CART™ is not just to sell products but to create an impact. Through this platform, I aim to empower local artisans by providing them with a global marketplace and ensuring that they receive fair compensation for their craftsmanship. Running multiple businesses, including my restaurant Taj Lethpora and Kashmir Cart, has taught me the importance of balancing passion with strategy. I always aim to stay ahead of trends and innovate, which has led me to embrace technology, e-commerce, and digital marketing as key pillars of my business.

Personal Life and Values

Outside of my professional life, I am a family man who cherishes the values of loyalty, integrity, and hard work. My family, especially my mother and siblings, have been a source of constant support and encouragement throughout my journey. As a practicing Muslim, I believe in giving back to the community and leading by example. I try to ensure that every step I take reflects my values, both personally and professionally.

My ultimate goal is to create a global community that shares a love for Kashmir, its culture, and its products. I want THE KASHMIR CART™ to be more than just an e-commerce store.
